OB Carpentry undertook a rebuild of the timber pool deck and ramp at Koko Apartments in West End in 2015. Oliver was selected to carry out this work after a comprehensive tendering process. His quote was detailed, competitive, and provided helpful recommendations and innovative options for consideration. He was pro-active in contacting the engineer for clarification on details and arranging extra meetings with committee members to personally discuss concerns on future maintenance and the use of alternative materials. He was always prompt to answer all enquiries.

 

During the build, Oliver and his team were courteous, reliable, on time and careful to minimise noise and mess within the internal pool deck area of the apartment complex. The quality of the finished product is high and was completed in a timely manner with little supervision or involvement by committee members being necessary. The engineer advised at final inspection that he was impressed with the outcome and quality of the work.

 

It has been a pleasure to deal with Oliver and I have no hesitation in recommending him for his professionalism, his extensive building knowledge and experience, and his impressive carpentry skills. His efforts to plan the build during the winter months to minimise inconvenience to residents in their use of the pool is much appreciated.
